this project was from graphic design 1 and redesigned in portfolio development. we were to rebrand a restaurant of our choice and i chose "great wall." i made the logo two images in one: a small house sitting on a mountain and a panda bear looking up to indicate that this is a Chinese restaurant. funny thing is when i started this project i told myself "no pandas or dragons" unless i find some original way to incorporate them which i did. i did research on Chinese patterns and mimicked one of them for the background of my menu.
